Can your project learning already count?

Ask for an evidence review with clear costs and gap decisions.

Recognition of prior learning assesses demonstrated skills and knowledge. Credit transfer uses formal prior-study evidence. Project experience and previous units can be relevant, but neither a job title nor an old course name decides the whole outcome.

Which records could help the assessor?

Ask what evidence is useful before collecting or sharing confidential records. Request a written explanation of any gaps, further training, remaining assessment and costs. Do not assume a fast-award promise replaces a proper assessment.

How do you make an individual recognition request?

Start with the exact eight core and four elective codes in the offer. For credit transfer, provide formal unit results. For RPL, describe the project functions you performed and your own contribution, then ask which permitted records and other evidence the assessor needs. A shared project document does not establish every person’s skills.

What should the outcome and price explain?

Ask which units are recognised, which evidence gaps remain, and whether further training or assessment is required. Request the remaining schedule, recognition fee, any gap-training charges and refund terms in writing. Neither experience nor an older qualification guarantees a fixed saving or a fast completion.
