What should your project evidence plan explain?
Keep assessment requirements visible even when activities share a project context.
Can the same context support more than one unit?
Ask how the provider maps a shared project context to the requirements of each unit. Shared documents do not automatically prove every skill. Integration has a three-occasion requirement, while the other checked core summaries each specify two occasions.
What should you confirm before study starts?
- Which real or simulated project contexts will be used.
- Who provides participants, feedback and workplace records.
- Where each assessed occasion is recorded.
- Which software and document formats are required.
- How feedback, resubmission and missing evidence are handled.
Request clear delivery and support information for these questions. If you will use employer records, ask what permission and confidentiality arrangements are needed before sharing them.
How could you practise safely?
Use an invented small project to define a goal, boundaries and a few tasks. Label it as practice. It does not replace the full assessed requirements or establish that your chosen scenario is suitable.
How could you organise questions for the assessor?
Use a planning sheet with one row per unit. Record the requirement, the activity or occasion, the evidence you expect to produce, who needs to participate and what remains unconfirmed. This is a suggested planning aid, not an official assessment template or proof of competence. Ask the assessor to confirm its suitability.
How should you record separate occasions?
Ask where scope’s two occasions and integration’s three occasions appear in the course assessment map. Do not treat a repeated upload or a shared document as automatically meeting another occasion. The assessor must explain how the full requirements are demonstrated; the diploma does not have a blanket three-project rule.
What can delay the evidence plan?
Check when participants, stakeholder feedback, project records and required tools will be available. Ask when trainers review work, how gaps or resubmissions are handled, and what happens if workplace access changes. Put these arrangements beside the teaching timetable before choosing a course.
