What if my project evidence has gaps?
RPL may lead to extra training where evidence is insufficient.
What should you understand?
An RPL review may find that your evidence does not yet cover some requirements. That is a reason to clarify the gap and the next step, rather than assuming either automatic failure or an automatic award based on experience.
What should you ask or practise?
Request a written explanation of what is missing and whether further evidence or training is appropriate. Ask how the proposed plan affects cost and timing. Keep the feedback and decision so you can understand what the assessor still needs to establish.
What should you compare?
- Evidence for the course offer
- Your learning goal and circumstances
- Unconfirmed conditions
What remains unconfirmed?
Your evidence, unit equivalence, recognition outcome and any gap-training costs need an individual provider assessment.
What can you do next?
Discuss the next learning steps with the assessor.
