BSB50820 focuses on project delivery and bringing project functions together. BSB50420 focuses on leadership and management of people and ongoing operations. Both are AQF level 5 Diplomas, but their core learning is different.

Consider the responsibilities you want to practise: coordinating a defined project, or managing continuing team and operational work. Compare actual unit lists and assessment activities. A shared level does not make the awards interchangeable or guarantee the same career outcome.
