Can I study project management without a workplace project?
Checked core units permit a realistic simulated environment.
What should you understand?
The checked core conditions permit a realistic simulated environment as well as a workplace. Scope and integration assessments still need suitable records and practical work. A real workplace project is therefore not the only setting described in the national evidence.
What should you ask or practise?
Before enrolling, ask how the provider supplies or arranges documents, feedback and participant interaction. Explain that you need simulation and confirm what you must organise yourself. A fictional scenario is useful only if the assessment setup meets the full unit conditions.
What should you compare?
- Exact unit requirements
- Assessed occasions and resources
- Access to practical activities
What remains unconfirmed?
The national evidence requirement is checked; the provider task design, participants, tools and accepted evidence are not known.
What can you do next?
Ask for the non-workplace assessment pathway.
